WE ARE BETTER TOGETHER
Arianna has long been fascinated with letterforms, the urban landscape and recontextualization. On the surface Paper Jam Press is a no frills approach to poster design. Working strictly with gothic wood type, black ink and a Vandercook letterpress, she prints five to seven word phrases of what she calls words to live by. A closer read reveals these phrases, when stripped down to their most essential, blossom into powerful mantras, bolstering us all toward certainty.
WE ARE BETTER TOGETHER was printed by Paper Jam Press using a typecase without enough T’s to be able to print the whole thing at once. This means it was printed in three passes. WE ARE…BETTER…TOGETHER. Truer words have never been spoken.
