What could be simpler?! Two dogs in a sloop, out for a sail on a sunny, breezy afternoon in Maine. With the refrigerator-sized 20″x24″ Polaroid camera in position on the shore, and generator-powered banks of strobe lights aimed at the point where the boat will, hopefully, sail/drift into view; dogs (Batty and Crooky) dressed and in place, assistant Jason Burch behind the boat somehow adjusting outfits while treading water, we are all set. Cue the boat… Oops, Crooky lost a sleeve… Reset… Cue the boat… Oops, wind took the boat askew… Batty down… Reset, repeat x 20… Voila!
