Lemur from Madagascar
I’ve been making a painting every day in my sketchbook for the last 5 years to keep me inspired and playful. When I think about what to paint, I tend to choose a subject with a lot of pattern, texture and color, something a little magical. The Lemur is wonderful because of its big striped tail and fab face mask. I went to town on the background and made the jungle as bright and floral-y as I could—just a bit of reality and a bit of fantasy.
